May's swimmer of the month award goes too...Ruslan Gaziev!!!
Ruslan did a great job representing ESWIM at Division 1, placing top 2 all all his events. He also had a great meet at Top Cup where he was able to add on his list of club records, consisting of 50 Fr(30.68), 100 FR(1:06.6) and 50Fly (33.01)
He contributes a great energy to the group and is always with a big smile on his face. Ruslan is now focusing on his biggest meet of the year, Jr. Provincial. Good Luck Ruslan!!!

We have come to the end of the short curse season. Everyone has learned and improve a lot since the beginning of the year, and we were able to show that with the amazing performances we had at Central Regions and Central Regions team champs.
On top of the countless best times, we had three more swimmers qualify for Provincial: Christine Sorocky (200 FLY), Stephen Piric (50FR, 200FR) and Gabriel Massarotto (200BK). We also had a few swimmers get very close to making the provincial cut, which are very excited and already working hard to achieve it during the long course season
We now start the long course season with new challenges and new GOALS in mind. Everyone should be working towards writing down their personal goals for the season as well as their workout goals. This will keep us focused and motiveted to continue giving 110% in each and every practice.
Finally, I would like to welcome the new additions to our group (Jen Duffy, Kate Armstrong, Natalia Klim, Julia Mishin, David Iarusci and Ruslan Gaziev) I look forward to working hard with you as well as getting to know every one of you a little better!! ;) WELCOME!
